BLYTHE, Calif – The Palo Verde Valley Transit Agency (PVVTA) has just received final State Transportation Development Act (TDA) fiscal and performance audits for the triennial period of fiscal year 2006 through 2009 and fiscal year 2009 and 2010.
Independent auditors hired by the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. had no findings for the triennial report stating that the Agency “is generally operating in an efficient and effective manner with no specific issues that are in need of improvement.”
For the fiscal year 2009/10 report auditors found that the Agency in all respects to financial position conformed to all accounting principles and had no internal deficiencies.
General Manager David Lane commented “this is exciting news for PVVTA as partners with the City of Blythe and County of Riverside achieved these very positive results through very tough financial times speaks volumes for the; management, accounting, operation and Board oversight of the Agency.”
