Arrest for Sale of Narcotics & Child Endangerment

NEEDLES, Calif – On Thursday, June 9, at 7:55 a.m., Deputies from the Needles Police and San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station served a search warrant on the 1000 block of Lilyhill. During the search of the residence, deputies located suspected methamphetamine and items associated with the sales of methamphetamine.

Based on the condition of the residence, as well as what was located within the apartment, deputies determined the residence was not safe for the children.

Bobbie Lynn Palmer (age 36 of Needles) and Stephan Loy Barrington (age 33 of Needles), were arrested for Possession of Narcotics for Sale and Child Endangerment and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Bail was set at $100,000. The children were released into the custody of a family member.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Needles Sheriff’s Station at (760) 326-9200.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
