March 3, 2016

YUMA, Arizona – On Wednesday, March 2, an illegal alien with an extraditable warrant out of Las Vegas for dangerous drugs, was arrested after illegally re-entering the U.S. from Mexico. Juan Carlos Garcia-Gonzalez (age 23) was turned over to the Wellton Police Department for extradition to Nevada.

On Tuesday, March 1, Border Patrol agents apprehended six illegal aliens with assistance from Air and Marine Operations. The group crossed into the U.S. through the Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge, near Yuma Sector’s forward operating base, Camp Grip. Two from the group required medical treatment at Yuma Regional Medical Center for blisters on their feet.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
