Border Patrol Rescues Two Illegals Lost in Desert

WELLTON, Arizona – On Tuesday, March 22, Wellton Station Border Patrol agents responded to a call for help from two illegal aliens, south of Tacna, Arizona. Border Patrol dispatch received a 911 call from Yuma County Sheriff’s Office revealing the caller and another individual were lost after illegally crossing into the United States.

An agent responding to the call detected smoke coming from a fire in the distance. As he approached the fire, the agent observed the two men who made the 911 call. A Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue unit arrived on scene shortly thereafter and administered medical treatment to both men for dehydration.

The two were transported to Wellton Station to be processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
