Colorado River Market Robbed by Men Wearing Unique Hats – Public’s Help Requested

December 29, 2016

NEEDLES, Calif – On Saturday, December 24, at approximately 2:40 p.m., two white male adults in their mid-thirties entered the Colorado River Market at 2100 W. Needles Highway wearing a black beanie and a red Santa hat.

The male, wearing a black beanie, walked over to the beer isle and selected a 30 pack of Budweiser beer and a 12 pack of Coors Light and exited the store without paying. The male, wearing a red Santa hat, walked up to the cashier and requested a bottle of Vodka from behind the counter. When the cashier was holding the bottle he grabbed it from her grasp and fled the store.

Both males got into a green colored four-door sedan and fled westbound on Needles Hwy. The cashier followed the suspects outside the store and stated there were two females inside the vehicle the suspects entered.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with additional information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Needles Sheriff’s Station at (760) 326-9200.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
