Fall 2016 Women’s Fitness Challenge

Saturday, October 22

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department invites you to explore the numerous career opportunities for women within our Department. We will be hosting the 2016 Women’s Fitness Challenge on Saturday, October 22. The Women’s Fitness Challenge is a free event that is open to women who are interested in a career as a Correctional Deputy or Deputy Sheriff.

You will have the opportunity meet Department members who will answer questions and provide insight into career opportunities and the hiring process, and to take the physical agility test portion of our hiring process, which includes sit-ups, push-ups, and a 1.5 mile run.

The Department’s various specialized teams will have an assortment of static displays set up for participants to view.

The Women’s Fitness Challenge will be held on Saturday, October 22, with registration beginning at 7:00 AM. The event will be located at the Ben Clark Training Center Auditorium, 16930 Bundy Ave, Riverside. Participants are encouraged to RSVP, but walk-ins are welcome.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages you to come out and enjoy the day with our staff, challenge yourself, and – Be the Difference.

For additional information, including physical agility requirements, please visit us at Women's Fitness Challenge, or you can call the Riverside County Sheriff’s Recruitment Unit at 1-888-Join-RSD.
