Missing Person Found

October 4, 2016

BLYTHE, Calif – On Wednesday, September 28, Sadiga Lopez, a missing juvenile from Blythe, was located in Louisiana. Blythe Police investigators originally believed Lopez had been picked up by her biological mother in the middle of the night on September 1 (see Missing Person).

Blythe Police Detectives working with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Child Recovery Unit tracked Lopez to her mother’s residence in New Orleans.

Lopez told New Orleans Police that she had voluntarily left Blythe with her mother. Lopez was found in good health and due to no custody order being in place, she was left in the custody of her mom in Louisiana.
