Salton Sea Workshops to be Held Across Southern California

The California Natural Resources Agency is conducting a series of workshops to provide information to the public and solicit public input on the state’s Salton Sea Management Program (SSMP).

The first series will introduce the state process and the Phase I projects currently proposed as part of the SSMP. The public is invited to participate in these meetings at the following locations and times:

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 16 El Centro

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 23 Irvine

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 30 Palm Desert

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 7 Niland

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 14 Calipatria

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 21 Westmorland

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 28 Thermal

  • 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. August 2 Los Angeles

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. August 11 North Shore

  • 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. August 18 San Diego
