Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of a San Dimas Man for Possession of Drugs

NEEDLES, Calif – On Tuesday, November 1, at 1:12 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station  conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Needles Hwy and Old Route 66. During the traffic stop it was learned the driver, John Arnold, was possibly in possession of illegal drugs.

A search of the driver and vehicle located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. John Arnold (age 23 of San Dimas) was arrested without incident and transported to the Needles Jail where he was booked for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
