AAA to conduct survey on senior intercity transportation needs

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif – The Imperial County Area Agency on Aging released. its first ever survey to gain insight on senior intercity transportation needs. This was an effort to expand senior transportation services in Imperial County. The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is conducting a senior transportation survey to bring awareness of transportation needs and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the current public transportation service being provided to seniors.
The results of the assessment survey will assist the AAA to advocate for transportation needs of the senior population and apply for grant funding in related areas. Hard copies of the survey have been distributed to meal sites, senior apartments, and community centers. Seniors who complete and turn in this survey will receive a promotional item courtesy of the AAA.
The surveys are in both English and Spanish and can be downloaded at the AAA website at www.AAA24.org.

Completed surveys can be delivered to the Imperial County Area Agency on Aging at 778 W. State St., El Centro, CA 92243. The survey deadline is October 31, 2017 by 3:00 p.m.
