Assault with a Deadly Weapon

JOSHUA TREE, Calif – On Saturday, January 14, at approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies from San Bernardino County Sheriff - Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving Tony Randall (age 51 of Joshua Tree) and the victim in the 62000 block of La Crescenta.

During the argument, Randall fired one round from a handgun, in the direction of the victim. There were no injuries resulting from the incident.

Randall was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. His bail was set at $50,000.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Morongo Basin Station at (760) 366-4175.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
