NOTICE OF INTENTION for the city council of the city of Blythe to consider adoption of a development agreement at a public hearing

BLYTHE, Calif – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Blythe intends to conduct a Public Hearing to consider the proposed Development Agreement between the City of Blythe (“City”) and Blythe Cultivation Partners, a Nevada corporation, on November 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City of Blythe, 235 N. Broadway, Blythe, CA 92225.
The City Council, as the planning agency and legislative body, will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of a development agreement consistent with the requirements of Government Code 65094. The proposed Development Agreement is intended to provide assurance to the applicant that upon approval of the project, it may proceed with the project under the existing policies, rules, and regulations.
The Blythe City Council will consider all comments received during the public hearing. All interested persons are invited to the Public Hearing to comment on the proposed Development Agreement. In addition, written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the public hearing.
If you wish to challenge the action taken on this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the Public Hearing.
