Needles Woman Arrested for Arson

NEEDLES, Calif – On Wednesday, February 8, at about 4:44 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station and Needles Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Flora Vista Street for a structure fire.
Detectives assisted and conducted the investigation which them to an apartment complex where they contacted Rosemary Carmen Tompkins (age 26 of Needles). Tompkins was taken to the Colorado River /Needles Police Station where she was interviewed and subsequently arrested for PC 451 Arson. She was subsequently booked into the Needles Jail on $100,000 bail.
