Woman Making Disturbance at AM/PM Leads to Her Arrest
January 28, 2017
TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif – On Thursday, January 26 at about 2:10 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Twentynine Palms AM/PM store located at 73434 Twentynine Palms Hwy in regards an irate female kicking and throwing rocks at the business windows. Dispatch aired additional information that the female walked away from the location and a description of the female was provided to responding deputies. A deputy located a female matching the description a short distance away and made contact with her.
The female was identified as Jennifer Tomasello, and determined to be the female causing the disturbance. Tomasello advised Deputy Tollefson that she was on probation, so a probation compliance check of Tomasello’s person and purse was conducted. Deputy Tollefson located an 11 inch and 6 inch fixed blade knives in her purse that were not in sheaths and easily accessible.
Tomasello was arrested for Penal Code 21310 – Possession of a concealed dirk or dagger; and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. A no-bail violation of probation hold was also placed on Tomasello.
Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
