3 juveniles arrested for burglary & vehicle theft after being caught on video

NEEDLES, Calif – Between Sunday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 22, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River/Needles Police Station received several calls for service in the Rio Buena Vista and Verde Shores Estates neighborhoods related to residential burglaries, vehicle thefts, and thefts from unlocked vehicles.

During the investigation, video surveillance from cameras in the area was located and reviewed by deputies. Deputies immediately recognized the three juvenile suspects in the surveillance videos from previous law enforcement contacts.

On Thursday, August 23, deputies were able to locate all three male suspects and arrest them for burglary and vehicle theft. Much of the stolen property was recovered at a home in the 300 block of W Broadway in Needles. The identifiable stolen property was taken to the Colorado River Station and will be returned to the rightful owners.

The three juveniles were booked at the Apple Valley Juvenile Hall, and are being held without bail.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
