Arrest for possession of stolen property

NEEDLES, Calif – On Tuesday May 15 at about 4:00 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Peru Street in Needles regarding a report of a residential burglary.
While deputies were on scene, they learned that a male subject, later identified as Timothy Pugh (age 28 of Needles), was seen leaving the back yard of the incident location and entered the back yard of another residence in the 1900 block of Peru Street.
Deputies responded to the second residence in an attempt to locate Pugh. Upon arrival they made contact with him and learned that he lived at that location. During their contact with him, they were able to see several items in plain view within the residence that matched items that were stolen from the original location.
Deputies obtained and served a search warrant at Pugh's residence. Several of the reported stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim. Pugh was arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail for Possession of Stolen Property.
