Burglary at Express Hardware

NEEDLES, Calif – On Wednesday, August 1 at 1:00 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Sheriff's station responded to a commercial burglary alarm at Express Hardware in the 300 block of Broadway Street. Deputies found the front glass door to the business had been broken.

Video surveillance from the store showed two people committing the burglary. A sheriff’s deputy investigated and was able to identify the suspects, who turned out to be juveniles.

Two search warrants were obtained and led to the arrest of the two suspects and the recovery of some of the stolen property. Both juvenile suspects were booked into Juvenile Hall.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
