Residential burglary and arrest on N K Street

NEEDLES, Calif – On Sunday, February 18, at about 9:04 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station deputies responded to the 500 block of N K Street, Needles, after being notified of a residential burglary. While on scene, the victim advised the suspect was in the residence upon returning and gave chase in the area of Walnut Street and N L Street.

Deputies followed the suspects last known direction of travel and located a majority of the stolen property.

While driving through the area, a deputy spotted a male subject matching the description coming out from behind a vacant building on Chestnut Street, near N K Street. The deputy contacted the subject, identified as Brian Ramos (age 28 of Needles), who was found to be in possession of the victim’s property.

Ramos, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Ramos is being held on $25,000 bail, pending a court hearing.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
