Sheriff seeking public's help with info on robbery of Pizza Hut

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif – On Saturday, June 9 at about 11:00 p.m., a male wearing a hoodie and face mask entered the Pizza Hut at 72526 Twentynine Palms Hwy, armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register.

The suspect fled the store after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. He then ran to a vehicle waiting nearby and left the area. No employees or customers were physically hurt during the incident. The suspect was described as white male about 6-feet tall with a medium build, dark hoodie with a face mask and a handgun.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance and anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Morongo Basin Station at (760) 366-4175.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
