Shots Fired at Car

BLYTHE, Calif – On Monday, October 22 at 2:02 in the morning, Blythe Police responded to a residence in the 500 Block of Avenue “B” regarding a report that a vehicle had been shot at.

The responding officers found a white Chevrolet vehicle which appeared to have been struck by gunfire. The victim reported hearing two gunshots from the front of the residence. When she went to investigate, she found the damage to the vehicle.

A vehicle seen in the area was described as a mid-2000 year brown Malibu, and occupied by a black male. No one at the residence, or neighboring residences was injured, and there was no damage to any other property. The case remains under investigation.
