January 9, 2016

Michael HolleyBLYTHE, Calif On Sunday night, January 3, Blythe Police Dispatch received a 911 call from a resident in the 400 block of N. Seventh Street. The caller reported hearing voices around the rear of his residence. Two Blythe Police Officers arrived within three minutes of the call and discovered the rear door of the home ajar. When Officers entered they contacted the male caller who informed police he was the only person who should be in the home.

Numerous attempts were made ordering Holley to show his hands and come out. When he refused Officers deployed pepper spray and again ordered Holley to come out. This time he complied and was taken into custody. Holley was wearing gloves and was in possession of pry type tools.

Police also recovered two bicycles believed to belong to Holley and a second suspect that was not located.

Holley was booked into Blythe Jail for residential burglary.
