Driver of Stolen Car Arrested

August 31, 2016

NEEDLES, Calif – On August 31 at 5:03 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff deputies saw a vehicle parked off the roadway in a wash near Hwy 95 and Spikes Road and conducted a safety check. Deputies found Dana Litchfield (age 32 of Needles) inside the vehicle and that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Litchfield was arrested without incident and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with bail set at $25,000. The vehicle was recovered and stored pending contact with the owner.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
