Juvenile Suspects Arrested for Theft of Motorcycles

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif – On Friday, July 22, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department - Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of two stolen motorcycles, in the 5900 block of Aztec Avenue.

Deputies located evidence at the scene, which led them to a desert area near Halsey Avenue and Two Mile Road. The two stolen motorcycles were recovered in the desert. Deputies found two juveniles, ages 14 and 15, who were responsible for the thefts. The 15 year old was cite released to his parents, while the 14 year old was arrested and booked at San Bernardino Juvenile Hall for charges of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.
