Possession of a Loaded Firearm within a Vehicle

NEEDLES, Calif – On Thursday, July 4 at 4:40 am, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station were dispatched to the 2300 block of Needles Highway, regarding a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man was identified as Arthur Tabacco (age 68), from Bullhead City, Arizona.

Preliminary investigation showed Tabacco to be in possession of a loaded firearm within a vehicle and the negligent discharge of a firearm. A firearm and two spent casings were located and taken as evidence. Tabacco was transported to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada for further treatment.
