Woman arrested after assaulting victim with a sword

NEEDLES, Calif – On Wednesday, January 2 at about 1:30 p.m., Deputy K. Sutton and Deputy I. Vega of the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station responded to the 400 Block of Bazoobuth Street in Needles after getting a call regarding an assault.

After conducting a thorough investigation, they discovered that while in a heated argument, Kathleen Anderson (age 35 of Needles) produced a small sword and cut the victim's forearm.

Kathleen was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. She was transported and booked into the Colorado River Jail and being held on $50,000. bail.
