Woman arrested for embezzling money from Hardware Express

NEEDLES, Calif – On Tuesday, August 20 about 1:23 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station / Needles Police responded to Hardware Express, where the store owner reported money missing from the business.

An investigation showed Tamara Munnerlyn (age 46 of Needles) had been embezzling money from the business for at least two years. The total amount embezzled was estimated at $25,000.

On Thursday, August 22, Munnerlyn was arrested and transported to West Valley Detention Center for booking. Bail amount was set at $50,000.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
