NEEDLES, Calif – On Tuesday, April 28 at 10:09 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff - Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of North K Avenue in Needles after getting a report of a carjacking.

The suspect and vehicle description were also relayed to the surrounding law enforcement agencies.

A Mohave County Sheriff’s deputy located the vehicle driving north on Highway 95 in Bullhead City and apprehended the suspect, who was identified as Willie Bell (32 of Needles). Bell was arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies for unlawful flight, possession of a stolen vehicle and a warrant.

The case will be submitted to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for filing of charges against Willie Bell.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
