City of Blythe Alley Cleanup

November 10, 2020

BLYTHE, CA The City of Blythe is actively working on measures to clean up the City. We need your help.

The Public Works Department deployed an Alley Restoration project to enhance the cleanliness and safety of our alleys and to curb illegal dumping. To clean the alley, Public Works needs access so we ask that you please remove all vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. currently parked in the alley.

Items such as tires, construction debris, furniture, refuse and other waste should also be removed. Any trees or shrubs with overhang into an alley must be trimmed to the property line or have a thirteen-foot (13) clearance. Tree trimmings should be disposed of in the proper manner, not discarded in the alley.

We are asking for voluntary compliance to enable our crews to do their job. If access continues to be an issue, Code Enforcement may issue citations to those not in compliance with the Blythe Municipal Code.

We thank you in advance for your help in our endeavor to beautify Blythe.
