Stabbing outside McDonalds results in arrest

BLYTHE, Calif – On Sunday, March 1 at about 7:13 PM Blythe Police Dispatch received several 911 calls in reference to a person being stabbed in the McDonald’s drive through at 191 S. Lovekin Blvd. Officers from the Blythe Police Department arrived on scene and located the person who was suffering from a stab wound.

Officers spoke with several witnesses in the area and obtained a description of a suspect. Moments later Officers located the suspect a short distance away from McDonald’s. He was, 33-year-old, Joshua Morris from Blythe. Morris was arrested and later booked into the Blythe Jail for Attempted Homicide.

The Victim was flown out due to his injuries.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
